Q: What is the initial cost of opening a YOGURTLAND?
A: Basic Costs:
- Franchise Fee – $35,000.00 upon joining our franchise (non-refundable, non-negotiable)
- Build-Up Cost – $350,000.00 – $400,000.00 (estimated; dependent on site size, location, and condition)
- Royalty Fee – 6% gross sales monthly
- Marketing Fee – 2% gross sales monthly
Q: How long does it take for an application to be pre-approved?
A: 2-4 Weeks
The application process usually takes 2-4 weeks. To expedite the process please complete the application out as complete as possible.
Q: What is the recommended location size?
A: 1000 – 1500 square feet.
Our Design & Construction team prefer your stores space be in the 1000-1500 square feet range. However size approval is based on the sites configuration. Our Real Estate team will assist you with finding the right size space for your Yogurtland.
Q: Do you franchise out of the U.S.?
Legitimate offers will be entertained. We are currently in Mexico, Guam, Venezuela, Australia with plans for stores in the Middle East. You will be required to open multiple locations and develop key markets. This type of development will require a very strong financial background.
Q: How much income will the store generate? How long is the ROI?
A: Once you submit a qualified application you may qualify to
receive our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
In accordance with franchise law, we are unable to provide this information or any kind of assumption on this matter. Once you submit a qualifying application we often provide our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that includes company and franchise store performance information so you can make an educated decision to franchise with Yogurtland.
Q: Do we have to buy all supplies from you?
Supplies are purchased from approved vendors. Our frozen yogurt product is propriety product that must be purchased from Yogurtland. We develop our own flavors and produce our products with innovation and quality in mind at every step.
Q: How long will it take to open a store?
A: Store construction takes 8-10 weeks
Once a location is secured and the construction permit has been issued, construction usually takes 8-10 weeks.
Q: Do you provide training?
We provide initial training, store opening training and continual training, and support as needed.
