Yogurtland Fan Turns Store Owner: Opens First Location in Alameda

(Alameda, CA) Yogurtland fanatic-turned-franchisee Christine Bautista is taking her daily desire for frozen yogurt to the next level by opening her first Yogurtland on Sept. 10 at 2640 Fifth Street, Suite B, at the Alameda Landing waterfront shopping district in Alameda, Calif.

Since the opening of the first ever Yogurtland in 2006, this self-serve frozen yogurt concept has dazzled its guests with a modern and colorful wall of flavors and deliciously appealing topping bar, filled with healthful and indulgent options.

“I’ve been a fan of Yogurtland way before I thought about owning my own store,” Christine Bautista said. “It’s been my family’s perfect place to meet to be together, and I’m excited to open my first Yogurtland in the quaint bay-area neighborhood of Alameda.”

Bautista and her husband Sig both decided now was the perfect time to open their own store and plan to open two more locations sometime in the future. Among her first goals is to give back to the community by supporting the local fire and police departments and encouraging reading by contributing Yogurtland prizes to school reading programs.

“Alameda is a special little town and I intend to take care of my neighbors,” Bautista said.

Store hours for the new shop are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.

The Yogurtland Difference

Separating Yogurtland from competitors is the company’s team of flavorologists who develop the proprietary recipes for the brand’s more than 100 different and customized flavors. Whether traditional or exotic, each flavor uses real ingredients sourced from their original locations. By controlling the entire frozen yogurt making process, Yogurtland has raised the standards for flavors and quality to new heights and much to the delight of millions of fans.

Naturally occurring calcium makes Yogurtland yogurt a healthful, refreshing treat. Fruit flavors are also fortified with Vitamin C. All of Yogurtland’s flavors meet the National Yogurt Association Criteria for “live and active culture frozen yogurt” and are produced in a kosher-certified facility. Yogurtland features non- and low-fat yogurt flavors as well as non-dairy and no sugar added choices.

Presently there are Yogurtland locations across the U.S., Australia, Guam, Thailand, Venezuela and Dubai. For more information, visithttp://www.yogurt-land.com.
